Orange Sodalite Pendant Wire Wrapped with Viking Knit and Leather

For this necklace I chose Orange sodalite. It has deep blue tones mixed with pale, peachy oranges. This stone is found all over the world and is named after its sodium content. It is also known as Princess Blue, as it was used by Princess Patricia as interior decor at Marlborough House in England.

Spiritual healing is enhanced by sodalite mineral stones due to their ability to reduce personal negativity and provide protection from external negative influences.

I created textured wire and used along with square and round wire to wrap this stone. I then added the pendant to a section of my woven viking knit and embellished with faceted orange sodalite beads. I created copper love knots and used smaller sodalite beads for the links and then added black natural leather 3mm cord.

This necklace is 20 inches long.
