There is Tiger Eye and then there is RED Tiger Eye. I believe this has to be my favorite with deep maroon red tones of polished faceted beads along with black faceted and polished Onyx beads. I have added small copper beads as enhancements and a small section of handmade copper chain.
This project was a little lengthy and made over several days. I cut the pendant from copper sheet metal and then did a mandala etching on it. It has been hammered and shaped to a concave look and then oxidized and coated with a clear jewelry lacquer to protect there finish. The ornate bail and wire embellishments were hand twisted and hammered to create sort of a art nouveau look. Again these pieces and are oxidized and protected with jewelry lacquer.
The overall length of this necklace is 28 inches.
