This is my version of a fold formed copper feather which began with a feather hand cut from sheet metal and then folded, hammered and heated until I reached my final look. I then gave it an oxidized patina and clear coat of jewelry lacquer to protect the patina. I also added a handout arrow head which I wired to the pendant along with accent beads.
I used turquoise "dyed" magnesite beads in this necklace creation along with handmade copper chain links. I also added 4.2mm copper ball chain.
The necklace is made to wear two different ways. It has a front toggle clasp which enables you to unhook the necklace and wear as a longer version with single bead strand at a 36 inch length OR it can be doubled and hooked in front for an 18 inch look. This makes the necklace very versatile. This can be seen in my photos of this necklace.
