This is a bold necklace with rich, earthy colors. I began by hand drawing my zentangle design on the hand cut pendant. This was then placed in an etching solution. I hammered to a convex shape. I then began with my jasper beads, choosing a variety of earthy colors ranging from gray to rust. Each bead is hand wired. I created all of my own jump rings and handmade chain from copper wire. I gave this necklace a front toggle clasp but it easily fits over the head.
All of my copper is given an oxidized patina and then a protective jewelry lacquer coating.
The length of this necklace is 28 inches with a 2 inch pendant drop.
