I have created a hand cut feather from copper sheet metal. It has been hammered, fold formed, heated and shaped into a feather measuring 3 inches long and 1 inch wide. To make it special, I have accented it with Goldstone, .05 mm black leather, Genuine Turquoise and Carnelian stones. I have added the pendant to a section of handwoven 'Viking Knit' accented with turquoise beads. I have a hand made charm to the side of the necklace along with a small piece of Campitos Turquoise. To finish the necklace I have used 1.5mm black leather cord with double strands tied with "Spanish" knots accented with copper tube beads. The overall length of this necklace is 38 inches and it can be tied and adjusted to 30 inches and as short as 18-20 inches.
