Butterflies..........a sign of growth and new beginnings, the butterfly signifies the power of transformation and the incredible feats we can achieve. I have hand cut a butterfly wing from copper sheet metal. I then gave it a butterfly wing pattern. The pendant has been oxidized and has a clear coat of jewelry lacquer to protect it. The pendant measures 5/8 in x 1 1 /2 in. I have added it to a strand of small 6mm Blue Mosaic Quartz along with 6 small Zebra Jasper 6mm beads. I have used dark brown leather cord to finish the necklace which has been tied with Spanish knots and embellished with copper beads along with a round copper magnetic clasp. A a final touch, I have added a butterfly charm to the necklace.
This necklace is 20 inches in length.
