From my rock tumbler.........to my workbench. I have taken half round copper wire and textured the wire using a rope pattern and rolling mill. I have wrapped this free form stone and then attached it to a copper textured and polished ring. For the necklace links, I used carnelian rondelle beads and Amethyst nuggets. They have been wired using copper wire, copper beads, and bead caps. I then finished the necklace with 1.5mm black leather cord which has been tied with Spanish knots which are sometimes called snake knots. I used copper tube beads as an accent. To the side of the necklace I added very small .05mm black leather with Carnelian and copper beads, copper chain with a charm, and a chain of Czech glass beads in purple and deep rusty colors.
This necklace is 30 inches long. The pendant is 2 1/4 inches long and 3/4 inches wide.
