Soft, Soft Chocolate Elk Leather Lace makes this necklace super comfortable to wear. No clasps or hooks to deal with. This necklace fits completely over one's head. I have used a chocolate brown Elk skin lace which is 1/2 inch wide. To create the pendant, I first cut my metal from copper sheet. I then created a two piece pendant from one disk. One half has been given a textured floral pattern while the other half has been torch enameled with hues of blue/green, tans and golds. I also added a floral pattern into the enamel. To finish the necklace, I have used ocean jasper beads along with gold Czech glass beads which also have a splash of blue/green color. I have wired each bead and connected them and used a handmade bail for the pendant.
The pendant is 1 5/8 inches wide and 1 1/2 inches long........the overall length of the necklace is 32 inches which means this necklace will hang about 1 1/2 to 2 inches below the bust line.
