Copper Metal Etched Mandala Pendant with Viking Knit, Wire Wrapped Chain Links, Lapis Lazuli Necklace

This is a handmade item created from copper wire and copper sheet metal. I began by cutting a 2 inch disk from the sheet metal and stamping a mandala design onto the disk. I then permanently etched the design into the metal, gave it an oxidized patina and a clear coat of jewelry lacquer. I added the pendant to a section of hand woven copper viking knit which is attached to Lapis Lazuli faceted beads and wire coiled chain links.

The overall length of this necklace is 26 inches long.
