A "weathered" rustic look finishes this copper pendant. I have created this look by first using a texture plate, then adding my design to be etched into the metal on top of the texture. The finished look is a hammered rustic design. I have also shaped the pendant in a slight convex shape. I have given it an oxidized patina and clear coat of jewelry lacquer.
I have added the pendant to a strand of 6mm Dzi Green Agate and Czech glass beads that have blue/green tones. I then added 1mm dark brown leather cord which I have tied with 'Snake knots' and embellished with copper tube beads.
The overall length of this necklace is 20 inches.
