A whimsical heart design is the focal of this pendant. I began by hand cutting the copper disk and then drawing a Heart design onto the pendant. I then placed it into an acid bath in order to permanently etched the design into the metal. It has been given an oxidized patina and clear coat of jewelry lacquer to protect the finish. I then added the pendant to a strand of mixed gems which range from Azurite, Quartz, Fluorite, amethyst, jasper, agate, Chalcedony, Turquoise and Carnelian. I then added 1.5mm black leather cord.
The overall length of this necklace is 24 inches.
