This is a copper feather that has been created using a technique know as electro forming. It basically takes a metal feather and copper plates it. I have given it an oxidized patina and a coat of clear jewelry lacquer. I then did a wire wrapping using smaller turquoise stones.
The pendant has been added to a strand of Campitos Turquoise beads from a mine in Sonora, Mexico. I then added a copper feather as an embellishment and then finished the necklace with 1.5mm black leather cord and copper beads.
The necklace is 24 inches in length.
