Copper Celestial Pendant with Gemstone Necklace

I have hand drawn a celestial design onto a hand cut circle of copper. This design is acid etched into the copper permanently, given an oxidized patina and a clear coat of jewelry lacquer to protect the finish. It has been hammered to a slight convex shape. I then wired individual gemstone beads into a beaded necklace consisting of copper beads, Chalcedony, Kyanite, Quartz and Rutilated Quartz with Citrine. I chose a natural tan leather which accents the earthy colors of blues and tans.

The pendant is 1 1/2 inches in diameter and the necklace is 30 inches in length which means it hangs at a length of 15 inches from the back of the neck, and down the front.
