This necklace begins with a copper electro formed dragonfly. There are many meanings for the dragonfly but mainly it represents change, transformation and self realization. It teaches us to love life, to rejoice and have faith even amidst difficulties. I have suspended an amethyst nugget and bead along with purple opal at the bottom of the dragonfly. The dragonfly itself is suspended from a strand of 6mm and 10mm matte amethyst and Mexican Morado purple Opal beads.
I have added a brass leaf charm which has been copper plated along with dark brown 3/8 inch wide soft deerskin lace leather. I have made a clasp which hooks on the side of the necklace and is attached with a half hitch knot. The other side of the necklace is tied with a 'snake knot' and embellished with a handmade copper bead.
