This is a necklace made from copper wire and sheet metal. I have hand cut the pendant from sheet metal. I then added a design to be etched into the copper. After adding the design I then hammered the pendant into a convex shape. I created a bail and placed the pendant on hand woven viking knit accented with glass copper colored pearls. I then added a length of handmade copper chain. This necklace has been given an oxidized patina and a clear coat of jewelry lacquer to protect the finish.
